About the Ten Bandits
Who are the Ten Bandits? They, um, we… no, that can’t be it… I am an art student in Wrexham, UK, currently studying Illustration for Graphic Novels. In other words, I’m taking a crack at being able to be a professional comics geek.
Why comics? Because I’ve been reading them for a decade and can honestly say that no other information-delivery system (using “information” in the loosest possible sense) has ever made as much sense to me. Some might say that’s down to me having an unusual information-processing disorder that means that a hybrid of words and pictures allows maximum comprehension, but I think it’s just a testament to the power of the medium.
My name’s Ted Brandt; on the internet I go by the name Ten Bandits. I have done for about four years, ever since an Eastern European dental secretary graced me with the worst mispronunciation of my name I’ve ever heard, and it stuck.
In person, I have a wry sense of humour and will talk far too much about mythology, science fiction, movies, and above all comics. I also, as all good humans do, greatly enjoy bacon.
